QUEENSTOWN ROTARY CLUB

A description of liis travels up the East coast of the South Island, Picton and Nelson, and the return journey via the West coast and Lewis Pass by the president, Mr R. Robins, was a feature of the weekly meeting held last Thursday evening. Mr Robins also made brief reference to the business of the Assembly which he attended while in Timaru. The suggestion made at a previous meeting to establish a Rotary magazine was further discussed and it was decided to leave the matter over till the next meeting. Mr A. H. Wheatley gave as the overseas toast, the Manchester Rotary Club. Eight to ten members intimated that they intended attending the birthday meeting of the Alexandra club which was held last Saturday night. Messrs J. Stewart (Alexandra) and J.
