WANAKA CRICKET CLUB
The annual meeting of the VVanaka Cricket Club was held recently. Officers elected were:—President, Mr M. Davis; vice-president, Mr S. Paulks; secretary, Mr L. Robertsoil jun.; ti ensure!', Mr D. Grant; captain, Mr W. Ironside; vice-captain, Mr H. Harris; committee —Messrs' N. Studholme, J. Trevathan, A. Winders, R. Little, D. Trevathan; selectors, Messrs M. Davis, H. Harris, W. Ironside; social committee, Messrs A. Winders, N. Studholme, and L. Robertson, delegates to association, Messrs D. Grant and H. Harris. It was decided that subscriptions should be at the same rate as last year, and that the opening day be held early in October.
