Golf Championships Conclude at Wanaka
In the final of the Wanaka Ladies’ Senior Golf Championship, Mrs Harris defeated Mrs Anderson 1 up and in the final of the Junior Ladies’ Championship, Mrs Farrant defeated Mrs Scaife 2 up. Best scores in the Ladies’ Bogey match played last Saturday were; Mrs Harris 4 down, Mrs Anderson 5 down, Mrs Morris 8 down, Mrs A. McKegg 8 down. In the final of the Men’s Senior Golf Championship, T. Allison defeated F. Jackson 3 and*2, and in the final of the Junior Championship B. Adamson defeated J. Creighton 6 and 5.
