Miller’s Flat won by 33 points to five in a friendly match against Arrowtown played at Arrowtown last Saturday. The visiting team were superior, their backs proving too fast for'the i's)cal boys, and with an outstanding 'forward in Doug Hamilton, a member Mg the Otago Ranfurly Shield team playing for them, the result ot the game was not in doubt. In the home side, Peter Stapp, |pf|ham Douglas and Jack Scott |||ayed well in the forwards, while |||m Little was the best back in the pack. slr B. Jackways was referee.
