GLENORCHY FAREWELL
A representative gathering of residents was [(resent recently at a dang? in the Public Hall, to farewell Mr a|& Mrs J. Watson and family, who Inge left the district to live in Tuatapcre. f Music was provided by Mrs D. Scott und Mr Fergie Heffernan. Mr J. Wylie was the M.C. Mr T. Bryant presented the guests of honour with a monetary gi't. Mr J. Watson replied. Musical honours were accorded them and supper provided by the women was served,. The evening terminated with, the singing of Auld La mg Byne and God Save the King.
