LAKE COUNTY COUNCIL

Deputy Chairman Appointed At a recent meeting of tha Lake County Council, Cr W. A. McLean, of Arthur’s Point, was appointed deputy chairman of the council. Cr McLean was appointed to the council in 1945 to take the place of Mr James Reid, who left the district to reside in Dunedin. He w’as successful in being re-elected 4o the council at the 1946 elections.
