ICE SKATING POND
Members of the Quenstown Progressive League visited Downey’s Lagoon on Sunday last, to decide whether this pond would be a suitable area in which to make provision for ice enthusiasts. An additional water supply has now been laid on to feed this lagoon and satisfactory arrangements are in hand for the control of same. It is hoped, with the help of the local skating club, to make this locality a popular rendezvous this winter.
