When Nick and Nora Charles get together, romance and mystery, chills and laughs, join hands for the top entertainment of the year. Now, for the first time in more than two years, the famous Thin Man and his wife are on the prowl in all of their spine-tingling glory with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s fifth of the series, “ The Thin Man Goes Home,” on Saturday next.
With that distinguished screen team of William Powell and Myrna Loy as co-stars, the new production can be expected to live up to expectations —and then some. Powell again portrays the suave, wise-cracking detective, while Myrna Loy returns to her role as his equally glib-tongued wife. Asta, the wire-haired pup, adding the third point to this comedy triangle, once again barks up the right tree when it comes to apprehending a murderer.
