LADIES’ INDOOR BASKETBALL

The Ladies Indoor Basketball Club have made a start for the season and some very keen and interesting practices have been held. The membership is the largest ever seen in Queenstown, and all the new members are showing promise of developing into first-class players. Mrs Wilson of the Physical Training Centre, Invercargill, was up for the opening night and gave some very interesting tuition and explained the finer points of the game to those just beginning.

It will not be long now until the zone competitions begin and it is hoped

that the Queenstown Club will field some strong teams this season.
