GIRL GUIDES
The annual meeting of the Queenstown . Girl Guides was held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday, June 3. Office bearers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: —Patron, Hr W. A. Anderson; president,' Mrs E. O. Clayton; vice presidents, Mesdames Scott, Davidson, and Anderson; secretary, Mrs N. Christopher; treasurer, Mr E. R. Hopwood; auditor, Mr C. M. Inglis; committee re-elected —Mrs P. C. Williams, Mrs P, Anderson, Mrs C. J. Mills, Mrs L. P. Evans, Mrs B. Marshall, and Mrs L. R. Lewis. The Commissioner, Mrs Jardine, read the report, followed by an account of the conference which was held at Mt Cook.
The balance sheet disclosed a credit balance of £lB 14s lOd.
