ENTERTAINMENTS

EVERYBODY'S THEATRE—

Wednesdays and Saturdays

On Saturday night the famous and charming Ethel Clayton will be seen in "Crooked Streets," a great tale of the Orient; it deals with a young girl who went to Shanghai as secretary to a famous naturalist, and there became enmeshed in a web of exciting happenings from which she was only rescued with difficulty. The picture is largely founded on fact —Miss Clayton's personal experiences. The picture is a really good one, played by a strong cast of performers.

On Wednesday next there will also be a good programme, as advertised. The big picture is a Metro, called "Marriage of William Ache," featuring May Allison, and second instalment of the serial,"The Great Gamble."
