Mrs W. Channon is in Auckland on holiday with friends.
Miss Blythe, for some time shorthand typiste in Mr J. Grey's office, is leaving for Auckland shortly. During her residence in Helensville Miss Blythe has made many friends, who will wish well for her future.
Mr H. B. Bradly and family are leaving shortly for Dargaville, whither Mr Bradly goes in compliance with the wish of the N.A. Farmers' Auctioneering Co. The residents will regret their departure from Helensville.
Miss Kidd and Miss Nicholas, of Auckland, were the guests of Mrs R. Douglas during the weekend.
At the Labour Day sports on the AucklTnid Domain, Miss Rita Bradly, young daughter of Mr and Mrs J. L. Bradly, of Helensville, got third for Highland dancing in strong competition —very creditable, as slie had only been a. short period under the tuition of Mrs Phillips.
Mrs and Miss May Claridge arrived from Takapuna last week to reside in Helensville. Mr Claridge, sen., recently purchased from Mrs D. Stewart a cottage in Garfield Road.
