ATTRACTIONS

Although a general exodus to the city will be made by local people, it is anticipated there will be a record crowd at the Hot Springs during the holidays, and already boarding houses are filling up rapidly. No attractions are set down locally, with the exception of a bowling tournament on the Awaroa Club's green on Christmas Day. Tennis and bowls at the Springs will be the chief interest, and numerous picnic parties for Muriwai Beach- and Shelly Beach have been arranged.

On Boxing Night a concert has been arranged by Mr R. H. Sarsfield to take place in the Parakai Hall. Some good talent has been secured, and afterwards a dance will be held. Mr H. Aitkenhead will preside and funds are in aid of more seats for the Domain. With a large number of visitors at the Springs, there is btmnd to be a record attendance at thia fixture.
