HELENSVILLE V. WAIMAUKTJ
The above match took place at Waimauku on Saturday last, and considering the hardships experienced.by both sides in getting their teams together, a very fait and open game ensued, which ended in Helensville being the victors by 25 points to nil. —NotesPlayers showing much promise are Baker, Fletcher, Parr, Noda, and Simcock. and with a few more games should prove very useful to their side. Hawke and Drinnan are still a little weak, and will benefit with a practice or two. Hinton and Wright played great games, and with the assist" ance of I Hart and Morrison were a tower of strength to their side. Hunter, Larsen, Carleton, and Sturgeon, in the forwards, played a good hard game, and are a credit to their side. A match between Helensville and Kaukapakapa will be played on the Show Ground, Helensville, next Saturday, A good game is anticipated, and the public are expected to attend in full force. The Helensville team will be selected from the following:— Hinton, Baker, Mouatt, Cooper, Parr, Sykes, Hunter, Simcock, Noda, Hart, McLeod, Fifield, Morrison, Wright, Hawke, Cox, Fletcher, Hafford, Russell, Smith and Carleton.
