We are glad to hear that the Bible Class recently started on Tuesday evenings is doing well, the attendance slightly increas" ing each time. At the last meeting Mr T. Stevens led off with a paper on Prayer. It was vrell written and afforded much food for thought. Other splendid papers were given by Misses ' Fewell and Henley and Mr Diprose. The next class will be held on June 24th, when the topic for discussion will be " The Types of Christ." Mrs Fewell is to be the leader for the evening. A lot of discussion has recently been taking place concerning Peace Celebrations. Many ideas have been put forward, most p,f < them involving considerable expenditure with little to show for it, e.g., bonfires, etc. 'One sug" gestion was made recently which ■truck your correspondent as being worthy of notice. It wai that Peace Sign Posts should be erected at as many important - important junctions of roads as M possible, giving -not only th*fl direction and name of place but also the distance to that placed We haye a few sign posts (Jottej here and there, but not nearly enough, and if this suggestion were to be carried out a good deal of help would be given to-those, who have to travel. It would be ! interesting to know what your^ reader* think. .. J?
