AWAROA BOWLING CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. THE annual meeting of the Awaroa Bowling Club, was held in the Lyric Theatre, on Friday evening, 27th Sept. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year, 1918-19. Mr D. Stewart, patron. Mr R. Smith, president. Mr H. Aitkenhead, vice-president. Mr R. J. Walters, secretary and treas. Mr A. Nuttall, green superintendent. Committee—Messrs C. Sandin, A. Bishop, A. Hammond, W. Cullens, W. Ellett J. Constable, D. Dwerryhouse, A. J. Hill, Auditor, Mr H. White, junr. Vice-Presidents, Hon. A. Myers, G. W. Sim, and A. Mason. Selector, Mr A. Hammond. Match Secretary, C. Sandin Delegate, Mr H. Aitkenhead A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the green keeper, deputy green keeper and caretaker It was decided that the Club send Christmas greetings to its membere at the front.
