BOWLING.
AWAROA BOWLING CLUB
ON Saturday next, 13th inst., the executive of the Auckland Bowling Centre, comprising Messrs R. Sneddon (President), W. Coltman (vice-President), J. Carlaw (Treasurer), and Bryden (Secretary), will pay a week-end visit to Helensville, as the guests of the Awaroa Bowling Club.
The Club has arranged two matches for them on Saturday next to be played morning and afternoon respectively. The game in the morning will start at 10.30 a.m., and the following team will represent the Club, • viz., Messrs Rimmer, Cullen, Aitkenhead and Garry. In the afternoon the match will start at 2.30 p.m., the following representing the Club: Messrs Sandin, Constable, Smith, and Hammond. Both teams being fairly representative, the visitors can look forward to two good games.
The Club hopes that as many members as possible will take advantage of the visit of the executive, and turn out on the green to meet them, and endeavour to make their stay as pleasant as possible.
