HELENSVILLE GOLF CLUB

THE annual meeting of the above Club was held on Monday evening last, the President, Mr Stringer presiding over a fair attendance of members.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

The balance sheet, disclosing a credit balance of £7 12s 6d, was read and adopted.

Officers as follows were elected for the ensuing year:— Patron —Mr John Dods. . President—Mr H. W. Stringer (re-elected).

Auditor —Mr J. Carter. Handicapper—Mr E. McLeod. Hon. Secretary and Treasurer —Mr N. Wallace.

Gent's Committee —Messrs A. J. Hill, J. Carter, J. A. Wilson, T. D. Johnson, E. O. McLeod, R. Screaton, J. C. Rimmer, and C. Sandin.

Ladies Committee —Mesdames Stringer and Earaes, and Miss Rimmer.

The following nerw 'members were elected —Misses N. Frood and H. Taylor, and Messrs H. White, C. Sandin, and J. C. Rimmer.

It was decided to commence the season on Saturday next, play to start at 2.30 p.m. with mixed foursomes.
