WEDDING BELLS.
TEAGUE—CRAVEN,
(From the Samoan Times, September 8.)
A WEDDING of special interest to members of the Garrison took place in the Apia Methodist Church on Monday last, when Private Teague of the Cycle Section, was married to Miss Catherine Mary Craven, of New Zealand. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. E. Clarke, and there was a large attendance of military men, among whom were Lieut. Stevens and representatives from the various units of the Garrison. The bride, who was charmingly attired in white, with large picture hat, was given away by Sergt. H. J. Jenkins, while Corpl. A. Howard undertook the responsibilities of best man. The reception held in the evening at Jonstone's Cafe (tastefully decorated for the event) was a happy affair throughout. Captain A. Richardson was present, and conveyed in felicitous terms the best wishes of officers and men for the happiness of the newly wedded couple. The usual toasts followed, Sergt. Jenkins proposing the toast of the evening, to which Private Teague responded in well-chosen terms.
