—At Helensville—

We had a most successful sale on Monday last, when the large entry of dairy stock was keenly sought after. During the sale competition never became dull, and dairy cows close to profit occupied the attention of most of those present. Following are the prices:—

Dairy cows, close, £11 to £15 ; ditto, backward, £7 15s to £10 15s; heifers near profit, £10 10s to £13 7s 6d; backward heifers, £8 15s to £10 ; bulls, up to £15 7s 6d ; store cows, £8 7s to £10 ; yearling steers, £6 19s, and yearling heifers £8.
