KAIPARA DAIRY FACTORY.
WINNERS OF A GOLD MEDAL.
IT is not generally known that the Kaipara Dairy Factory Company, Limited, Helensville, recently gained a gold medal for their exhibit of " Poplar " brand butter at the recent PanamaPacific International Exhibition held last year. The medal recently came to hand and was accompanied by a magnificent diploma. This is very gratifying to the manager, directors, and suppliers to have their production placed at the head amongst so many exhibitors, and goes to prove that the Kaipara district has a valuable asset in their dairy factory. It is the intention of Mr Stringer, the Company's secretary, to have the diploja^W, framed and exhibited in the ofijPp£ along with the medal. The v medal has been the cause of some little dissatisfaction, and though the diploma distinctly states that a gold medal was awarded, the r one to hand is manufactured from ' bronze.
During the past week the ; carpenters have been employed making very necessary additions to the Company's office, and when completed will be double the size of the old premises. This will provide a spacious room for the secretary, and a room where the directors can meet to discuss company matters.
