Mr A. G. Powdrill was given a good send-off from Kaipara Flats. There was a large gathering in the Hall," including ladies and gentlemen from surrounding districts. A very pleasant social evening was spent. Mr John Morrison, on behalf of many friends, presented Mr Powdrill with a travelling rug, and the recipient responded in happy terms. Mr Powdrill had been in business at Kaipara Flats for eight years.
