[OWN CORRESPONDENT!

THE residents of Glorit, although few in number, are not allowing their interest in Red Cross work to wane. At the monthly social held at the residence of Messrs Hooper and Gardner on Saturday last close on £10 was collected. Several visitors from Makarau lent their assistance in entertainment.

Mr R. Gardner, of Glorit, has offered his services for the 29th Reinforcement, and goes into camp in May.
