HELENSVILLE'S ARRANGEMENTS

A public meeting is to be held in the Star Theatre to-morrow (Friday) evening at 8 p.m., for the purpose, of expressing the inflexible determination of the people to continue the war to a victorious end. The meeting is being called by the Chairman of the Town Board, by request of the Government. On Friday next, 4th inst., from Ito 1.30 p.m., in Stewart's Theatre, there will be a service of intercession (prayer and meditation) to ask Almighty God's blessing on the cause of the Allies. All are earnestly invited to attend. Rev. L. J. Hodson presides. —St. Matthews Church, Helensville— Friday's services are as follows : 7' a.m., Holy Communion. 10.30 a.m.. Intercessory and Thanksgiving Service with H.C, 7 p.m., Intercessory and Thanksgiving Service with Sermon.
