DEFENCE NOTES.
The Helensville platoon will parade to-night (Thursday), at 7.30, at the Agricultural Hall.
The Cadets will parade at the Defence Office, Helensville, at 2 p.m., on Saturday next.
Members of the Helensville platoon, who are firing for Mr D. Stewart's Gladstone bag, will parade at the Orderly Room, at 1 p.m. sharp, on Saturday, 26th inst.
Capt. Turley and Lieut. Fletcher, leave for Whangarei, on Friday evening, for posting duties.
