HINEMOA PRIVATE HOTEL.
The above tourists' private residence which was erected last year just a stones-throw from the Helensville Domain baths, by Mr Woolsey Allen of Dargaville, has received such general patronage from by the travelling public tnat not satisfied with affording every accommodation, drainage, and hot mineral springs baths on the premises; separate he has just now completed upon the spacious ground, quite a handsome and imposing building, inside of which is a swimming bath 40ft by 20ft, and fitted with dressing-rooms in up-to-date style; the whole of the building is match-lined up to the roof, which is open in the centre, while the bath itself is of concrete and beautifully clean, steps leading down to the warm mineral springs water, and there are also iron rails all round for the conveniens of users of the bath,'which averages 4ft in depth. Not content with this again, Mr Allen intends to add on another twenty bedrooms, as during the past season Mrs Neill (the lessee) had often to .refuse accommodation. When the jaddiitions, together with other improvements con-, templated, Mr Allen will, have the largest and most modern private hotel outside of Rotorua. We understand that it is Mr Allen's intention to give some forty of his sawmill employees at Dargaville, together with their wives and families, a picnic out at the Springs on Saturday, returning again to Dargaville on Sunday night.- Mr Woolsey Allen deserves every credit for his great undertakings.
