RUSSIA'S MIGHTY ARMY
With public attention everywhere focussed on the exploits of the Czar's allconquering army, the magnificent War topical entitled "Russia's Mighty Army," which will be shown at the Star- Theatre to-morrow (Friday) evening, should prove a big draw, giving as it does magnificent views of the vast country over which the fight is raging, and the great army in all its branches. The chief attraction on Saturday's programme is " Whom the Gods would Destroy," a dramatic masterpiece, written with extraordinary skill, and compelling intense interest throughout. For Wednesday the management has been fortunate in procuring that powerful Edison drama, " The Stoning," which teaches so impressively the axium "Judge Not." Its appeal, its realism, its deep sympathies, and convincing wholesomeness all brand it a masterpiece, and probably its equal has never been shown jn this town. The supporting programes are also of high merit, and cover a wide range of subjects.
