Lemnos
/The French have gained a closer connection with Servians at PrilerJ. The alliesjiave made progress east of Strumnitza, in Bulgaria. They repulsed a Bulgarian attack along the River Orna, which flows into the Vardar on the right bank, south of Koprulu. The enemy heavily.
The Montenegrins claim to have repulsed the enemy everywhere except at Vishegrad, in Bosnia, near the Montenegrin border, where they ' were compelled to fall back to better positions.
A special German mission has gone to Athens, bearing an explicit declaration of the friendly intentions of Bulgaria, and a message stating that Roumania will remain neutral. It is reported in Rome that Earl Kitchener has arrived at Mudros, on the Island of Lemnos, which the allies have been using as a base in connection with the Dardanelles operations.
