Servian Successes—Enemy Losses Very Heavy— Allies Protecting Railway — Landing at Enos Reported — Sir lan Hamilton Recalled — New Commander for Gallipoli

The Servians .have repulsed German attacks at two points in the extreme north-east of Servia, which divides the German army from the Bulgarian army. At the village of Gornacco, after an eight hours' battle, the Servians captured 2000 prisoners and four guns. The enemy's losses were very heavy. ;

The capture of Strumnitza, the Bulgarian town about 12 miles from the Salonika-Nish railway is confirmed. The allies also hold various posts dominating the line, the protection of which for some distance is assured.

There are reports, so far not officially confirmed, that an allied force has landed at Enos, the small Turkish poet on the JEgean 12 miles south-east of Dedeagatch and has seized a portion of the railway running from Dedeagatch to Adrianople.

General Charles Munro, C.8., has been appointed to command at Gallipoli. Sir lan Hamilton is returning to England to report.

Allied airmen have dropped bombs on military buildings at Berchen, two miles south-east of Brussels.

The British fleet has again bombarded Zeebrugge, on the coast of Belgium.
