Panic in Bulgaria—Civil War Threatened—Greek Parliament Meets— Government's action approved.
The prompt action taken by the allies has created great alarm in Bulgaria. The country is said to be on the verge of civil war, and the Parliamentary leaders manifest a desire to re-open negotiations with the allies. This is now impossible. King Ferdinand is unable to find a Bulgarian general willing to assume command.of the army because he would be under German orders.
The reported landing of allied troops at Salonika, in Greece, is confirmed.
There is an agitation in Roumania for mobilisation headed by the Parliamentary Opposition.
The allies have bombarded the Dardanelles forts, using longrange guns placed on barges.
. There has been a violent bombardment on the whole western front. A German attack in the Vosges was repulsed.
