HELENSVILLE GOLF CLUB
The ladies' first medal competition for Dr. Phippen's trophy took place last Saturday afternoon. Owing to unfavourable weather conditions the contestants were few and the scores of a not very high standard.
Mrs Peacock, with a net score of 61, proved the winner.
The scores are

Next Saturday a bogey match for gents will take place. Post entries; players choose partners ; entrance fee, Is ; prize, trophy. It will be necessary for competitors to make an early start, as the match is decided over a full course.
