A Vienna communique claims that Przemysl was re-captured by the AustrcrGermans on Thursday morning. Russian messages indicate that a sustained attack was made on the forts to the north, which had been almost demolished before the surrender of the fortress by the Austrians. The Germans claim to have entered Przemysl from the north a few hours before the Austrians entered from the south and west.
A British submarine has torpedoed another large enemy transport ship in the Sea of Marmora.
A Paris newspaper states that Bulgaria and Roumania have arrived at a complete understanding which will permit them to enter the war simultaneously —Roumania against Austria and Bulgaria against Turkey.
It is reported that America has replied to the German Note emphasising that the Lusitania was on a peaceful voyage and unarmed, and that all other po.ints raised by Germany are irrelevant. ,
