Koler ... 25 16 —Our Frontiers Men — It is proposed to hold a parade on Thursday evening next, at the Defence Office in conjunction with the Legion of Frontiersmen. —Weekly Parade of Local Men — A parade will also, be held on Saturday, 29th, at the Defence j Office at 2 p.m. —Enrol! Enrol!— ■ Riflemen McArthur and Simmons, of the Helensville Platoon have volunteered for active service. —Post Office Contribution —• Every Unit helps. — Helensvllle's letter-carrier during the past four years, Mr Ferrell, belonging to the Auckland Post and Telegraph Corps, has volunteered for the front, and leaves here on Thursday for headquarters. —Another Mishap.— Young Carlton, of Otonga, and nephew of Mrs E. T. Field, Helensville, is reported to' have been amongst the^killed, last week, at the Dardanelles. The roll is scarcely filled yet. We sympathise with Mrs Field and the Carlton family of Whakapara. —Recovering Fast. — A late telegram to Mr Ryal Fosbroke, says: Lieut. Fletcher, late of Helensville, and wounded at the Dardanelles, is progressing favourably.
