f£r. The Russians have, achieved *'%' notable success in the Car* They broke the resistance south of Dukla. The Austrians were forced to retreat, but were pursued by the Russians, who took over 10,000 prisoners. The latest Betrograd cable r . gr-arns report fierce and sanguinary fighting in Ejast Prussia, and a successful night attack at Bypifi, whioh is east qf Thorn, and close to %he German frontier. The Russians gave also routed a German column at Bolimow, 35 miles west of Warsaw. In Flanders Franco-Belgian troops have forced a passage between the west side of the great dune hear Nieuport, sending a damaging fire against the enemy's right, 'wing 'before Westende. There has been no further fighting along the §uez. Canal. Ji number of Turks arejsurrendering to the British, .'^ith the exception of prisoners,- only four' Turkish soldiers reached the left bank of the canal. A search for them is in progress. The prisoners taken were exhausted as a result of defective victualling.
