Tile large new Helenesville Picture Theatre, was opened on Tuesday last, when to celebrate the occasion, Mr Jas. Stewart, the proprietor, gave a free picture entertainment to an au~ dience of ahoufc $00 people, including children. Mr L. Blanche operated on the screen during the evening, and showed some capital films, tbo test and roost entertaining being. the Grand NationaUSteeplechase. Miss Onllen provided the music upon a handsome new Werner piano, while the hall is seate 1 with chairs throughout. The show was thoroughly ea« joyed throughout by one and alt.
