STAR PICTURES.
Those who wished to see a really good picture were treated to one last night. "An Hour before Dawn " was screened, and held the audience spell-bound, as it .was a succession of thrills from start to finish. "Zura the Bandmaster" was a genuine mirth producer. Oh Saturday next patrons of the Star Picture Theatre will be well -catered for, "His Solemn Oath" is the star picture. If one is interested in war pictures—and who is not these stirring time ?—one may fare sumptuously, as the German entry into Brussells will be screened. Other interesting items include "The Indian Ambuscade," a Kalem masterpiece; 'and "The White Rose," A X comedy. The star picture for Wednesday next, is the stirring vitagraph drama "Mystery of the Silver Skull," which is a story of a murderer's hold on defenceless girl. It is supported by a good collection, including " Capture of Louvain," " the Melbourne Cup," and a screamingly funny Keystone.
