A PETITION is now being signed for presentation to the Helensville Town Board on Saturday, requesting that Saturday be made the statutory half-hold ay for the district. The ECHO is of opinion that it would be preferable and more enjoyable for all concerned to have Saturday as the halfholiday, both for workers and shopkeepers generally, therefore let the petition be universally signed; if the experiment did not work satisfactorily, we could easily revert bapk to Thursday, after twelve months' trial.
