MR HOE'S MEETINGS.
Mr R. Hoe, the Opposition candidate, addressed the electors at Raupo, on Thursday ""evening. He received an attentive hearing, and after a number of questions had been asked and satisfactorily answered, he was given a vote of thank's and confidence. Mr Hoe has also been accorded vqte,s of confidence at good meetings held at Eail^u and Dargaville, and many Jnjand centres, l^e sneaks at Helensville on Monday next.
MR GORDON COATES1 MEETINGS, The sitting Member, Mr Coates, has also been travelling round "fast and. furious." On Wednesday last (Nov. 25), Mr Gordon Coates addressed a large meeting at Port Albert. On Thursday he was at Wharehine midday, and at Tauhoa in the evening. He visited Kaipara Flats on Friday, and on Saturday night'he was at Wakareau. All the meetings\yere large, and an enthusiastic \ote of thanks and confidence was carried at all, with the exception p l^ort Albert, where a vote of thanks only vyas carried. He also got on splendidly at Glorit, Makarau, Kaukapakapa, Riverhead, Kumeu and Waimauku.
