MEETING OF HELENSVILLE FOOTBALL CLUB

A meeting of the Helensville Football Club was held in the Public Library on June 27. Mr C. White was in the chair. It was resolved that Mr V. McLeod's resignation as captain and selector of the team be accepted. It was proposed and carried that Mr J. Downer be sole selector for the Club. It was proposed as an amendment that Mr R. Williams be appointed as selector.—Amendment lost. A vote of thanks was accorde d to the retiring selectors, Messrs McLeod, Luttrell and Reyland.—Mr Reyland acknowledged the compliment. It was proposed and seconded that Mr G. B. Bradly be registered in the Helensville Club, having resigned from the Suburbs Club. *' It was proposed as an amendment that Mr G. B. Bradly be not registered in the Helensville Club.—The amendment was carried. A hearty vote of thanks to the Chair" man brought the meeting to a close.
