Fruit increased in supply and prices show an advance in many lines. Lemons are- lower in value. Poultry was again in heavy supply and values ... jwere a shade lower than last week, A^^fchough prices were very satisfactory. Potatoes are in steady demand with ,T large quantities arriving ; sales for good are made freely. Onions are lower. We quote : — Poultry. Hens, good, Is 8d to 2s Id ; ordinary, Is 5d to Is 7d. Pullets, 2s to 4s. Ducks, Is 9d .«to 2s lOd. Roosters, prime, 3s to 3s 9d. Good 2s 6d to 2s lid. Cockerels Is to Is 6d. Geese 3s 6d. Turkeys, gobblers, 10s to 18s 6d. Turkey hens 5s to 7s.
