SPORTS AT EASTER
The annual fixture of the Helensville, Te Pua and Parkhurst sports club will again take place on Easter Monday, at the Show grounds. At the annual meeting the following officials were appointed for the ensuing year : —Patrons, Messrs J.C. Coates, M.P. and Jas. McLeod ; President, Mr E. H. Cucksey ; Secretaries, Messrs P. G. Comes and J. Geldard ; Committee, Messrs J. Constable, R. Park, W. Rey- *> land, Tui McEwin, G. Willis, J: Russell and J. Downer. Judges, Messrs J. A. Wilson and W. Channon ; Starter, Mr W. Jowitt; Handicapper, Mr W. Burbush; handicappers for local race, Messrs D. Donovan, W. Rimmer and W. Ellett. The vice-presidents' list contains upwards of fifty names. A good Sports programme has been prepared, as will be seen by the posters no w in circulation. Athletic are reminded that entries close on Saturday, March .£- 28th, with thh Joint secretaries, Messrs «s and Geldard.
