GOT HIS DESSERTS

A man named Joseph Morven alias Julian, was arrested by Constable Tornell last week on charges of stealing a pair of boots, also some tinned fish and milk from Stewart Bros. It appeared that accused bought one pair of boots and hid another pair under his coat. The other goods were also found in his possession. He was sentenced to 3 months' imprisonment, his record being an unfavorable one as shown by the Police. The Bench was occupied by Messrs G. LaEoche and W. R, Fosbroke.
