THE WATER SUPPLY

The town water supply, which has been eagerly anticipated for a longtime, is soon to be available. The water has been in the mains for some days past, and a good pressure seems to be available. Various tests have been made with hose from the fire plugs, with excellent results. The house connections, etc., have yet to be installed, but this work is to proceed with despatch. The Prime Minister (Hon. W. F. Massey) is to be asked to perform the official opening ceremony.
