THE SWING BRIDGE

The contractors for making piles at the Swing bridge are making good progress with the work. The present uncertain structure has done good service, but the sooner it is replaced by a more substantial bridgs the better will it be for everybody whose interests necessitate their depending on this means of access to and from Helensville. The renewal of this important bridge is being carried out none too soon, judging by the shaky condition in which it is in at present.
