Wedding Bells.

A wedding which occasioned a good deal of local interest took place at St. Andrew's church, Helensville, last Wednesday, the contracting parties being Reginald Clifford LeGrice, fourth son of Mr and Mrs . J LeGrice, of Raupo , (Northern Wairoa), to Mary, fifth daughter of Mrs J. Hunter of Helensville. The bride ; , who was given away by her eldest brother, Mr John Hunter, was very prettily dressed in creme satin, and was attended by Miss Bessie Hunter as bridesmaid, who was prettily costumed in creme. Mr Laurence LeGrice was best man. The officiating minister -was the Rev. Gordon Kirgan. The Church had been prettily decorated for the occasion and at the conclusion of the marriage ceremnoy a shower of rice fell upon the newly-married couple from a marriage bell above the altar. The wedding breakfast, at which about sixty guests attended, was held in the Foresters Hall. Rev .R. G. Kirgan proposed the toast of the bride and bridegroom, to which Mr LeGrice duly responded. .Among other toasts was that of " The Absent Farmers," who were away looking after their interests in Auckland, which was proposed by Mr- Jas. McLeod and responded to with enthusiasm. .Among the' presents, which were numerous and varied, .and showed the esteem in which the bride was held, was one from the Staff and Proprietary of Stewart Bros, where Miss Hunter had been engaged for the past seven years, consisting of a handsome silver sugar scuttle and tongs, a silver mounted umbrella and a pretty toilet service. Tbe happy couple left by the afternoon train for Hamilton on their honeymoon.
