White f/odino Clover.—One of the most promising introductions from abroad at the Uuakura Farm of Instruction is White Lodino clover, re ceived last year from Mr J. S. Pond, of Auckland. This variety "was raised by the Lodino Plant-breeding Association, of Fiance, and is being distributed by Messrs Yillmorin and Co., of Paris. It is a perennial white clover, possessing the same habits as ordinary white clover, but of a larger type having bigger leaves and stronger stolons, and producing .considerably more feed.
