(From Our Own Correspondent.)

A very enjoyable concert and dance was held on Friday, the 14th inst., in aid of the hall Funds, when the follow^ ing programme was pleasingly rendered: —Pianoforte Solo, Miss K. Lyons; Duet, Messrs McGiil and Lyons ; Solo Mi;>s Foster; Violin Solo, Mrs McGiil ; Song, Mr J. Lyons ; Quartettes, Messrs Tula and Company ; Song, Mrs McGiil; Songs, Mr Mcludoe ; Songs, Mr Cucksey ; Songs, Mr C. White ; Song, Mr R. Screaton ; Song, Miss M. Lyons. The accompaniments were played by Mrs Cucksey, Miss Lyons and Mr and Mrs McGiil, " During the evening light refreshments were served by the Ladies' Committee'and dancing kept up till 1 a.m, Mr Osbaldiston and Miss Lyons providing the music. A hearty vote of thanks was given to all who assisted in tho entertainment, and special mention is due. to Mr and Mrs Cucksey, also Messrs Screaton and White, of Helensville, and Miss Foster, of Auckland for their valuable assistance.
