Masonic Ball.

The 29 Anniversary Ball in connection with the} Duke of Albany Lodge, No. 2073 E.C., which was held last Wednesday, passed off very successfully. There were nearly fifty couples present, and all had a very enjoyable time. Bro. J. Mackie, W. M, in a neat speech welcomed the visitors, expressed a hope that everyone would enjoy the proceedings, and tendered thanks to the ladies who had assisted with the decorations. The Masonic march was then proceeded with, after which Bro. Mackie arid Mrs Mackie led off the Grand March.

The hall had been beautifully decorated for the occasion, and had a very artistic appearance. Every attention had been given to floor pre« paration, and the music by Meredith's orchestra was .splendid. The catering by A, Becroft and Co. was of a fiTstclass order, and was much appreciated. The secretary (Bro A. M. Hammond) and the M.'s C. Bros. R. Smith, C. Wilson,' and P. LeGrice) carried out their duties most efficiently.
