Mr A. E. Grey, who -has been in the local Bank for the past two years, transferred to Darg ville on Monday. Mr and Mrs Megson left last week on a visit to Rotorua. Mr JVlegson's health, has not improved much of late owing to the very changeable weather conditions. Miss Woodham, of Devonport, who has been typists for Stewart Bros at Helensville, left last week to take up a position in Auckland. Miss Lyons, of • Auckland, has filled the vacancy at Stewart: Bros' establishment. .' Mr Gordon Coates, M.P. for Kaipara, was in Helensville today. - " '"' ''■'■•
Mr J. Teasdale, carter for Hunter Bros, got his hand crushed between the dray and a railway truck a few days ago. The injured portion has since made good progress, and he expects to be back at work again before long.
