WAITEMATA SHOW.
The eighth annual show of the Waitemata A. and P. Association was held at Waiwera on Saturday, Fine weather prevailed and there was a record attendance. Record entries were received, and the quality of the exhbits was well up to that of previous years. In the prize list of Horse events, we noticed the following local winners:— Pony£(l<U hands) : 0. Kelly, 2 ; Mrs Newcpan, 3. Hack (up to 14st), L. Phillips, 1; J. Kelly, 3, Hack (up to I2st), J. Kelly, 3. Lady's Hack, J. Kelly, 2. Best Walking Hack, Callagher, 1; J. K.elly, 2. High Jump, J. Kelly and Dye tie, (Gallagher rode both houses). Jumping competition : B. Williams, 2, Bareback rider : T. Callagher, 1 ; E. Hunter, 2.
